Anita Clarice Conrad

Anita Clarice Conrad, born June 21, 1938 to Ruth and Clarence Hudgin in Lebanon, Tennessee passed away on February 7, 2018 at her home. Anita was raised in Clarksville, Indiana, graduated from New Albany High School and married her first and only love, Dale Conrad on July 13, 1957. They moved to southern California, eventually settling in Huntington Beach and raised four children, Kim (m. Todd), Teresa (m. William), Cheryl (m. Stuart) and Steven (m. Jade). Anita earned an Associate's degree from Golden West College, CA and then worked as an Administrative Assistant at Rockwell Collins-International, CA. Anita and Dale retired to Las Vegas, NV, enjoying bowling, traveling, visiting friends and being with family. Anita was an especially proud grandmother to Conrad, Diana, Kaylee, Ely, Stephanie, and Jason. Last year, Anita and Dale moved to Mesa, Arizona. Having them close to family during Anita's last year was a blessing. In addition to her husband, children and grandchildren, Anita's two sisters, Marilyn and Nancy, and their husbands, children and grandchildren survive her. A memorial will be held at Richardson Funeral Home, 2621 S. Rural Rd, Tempe, AZ on March 17, 2018, 10:00 AM.
