Avis Bloomer, 79 of Phoenix, Arizona passed away on November 4, 2017. She was born in Grand Rapids, Minnesota on January 3, 1938 the daughter of Melvin and Vivian (Hivly) Nygard. She worked as a Bartender for many years and had been an Arizona resident since 2008. No formal services are planned at this time as the family is honoring her wish for cremation. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Rick, Mike, and David Parton, Michelle Kendall, Tracy Nelson, and Vicki Carty. Richardson Funeral Home, Tempe, Arizona is compassionately serving the family.
