David Eisenbeis Obituary

David Kent Eisenbeis passed away on September 23, 2018 at Honor Health Deer Valley at the age of 64.  He was born in McLaughlin, South Dakota to Harold and Laverna (Litzau) Eisenbeis and moved to Three Forks, Montana when he was an infant.  He graduated from Manhattan High School, Manhattan, Montana in 1972 and then attended Montana State University for two years.  In 1974 he began his employment with Sletten Construction, where he worked for 44 years until his passing.  He was united in marriage to Renee` Briggs in 1975 at Livingston, Montana.  David spent many years building projects for Sletten Construction in North Dakota, Montana, Wyoming, Arizona, and Las Vegas, Nevada.  He was a good friend and generous person.  Dave was an avid fly fisherman.  He spent time fly fishing the Gallatin, Madison, Jefferson, and Yellowstone Rivers, Rock Creek and Cottonwood Creek in Montana, also fished in Alaska, and some deep sea fishing in Mexico.  Dave had a love for old Farmall Tractors,  which he would bring home and restore them to their classic look.  Dave loved the holidays, especially Halloween and Christmas.  He loved to decorate inside and out.  There was always a tractor in the front yard with lights and a Scarecrow or Santa in the driver's seat, depending on the holiday.  Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Renee, father, Harold Eisenbeis, sister, Tracy (Chris) Benson, brother, Mark (Kim) Eisenbeis, aunt, Alice Ritter, uncle, Marvin Litzau, three nieces, two nephews, five great nieces, and two great nephews.  A Celebration of David's life will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at 10:30 AM, with viewing one hour prior to services,  at Richardson Funeral Home, 2621 South Rural Road, Tempe, Arizona.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions in David's name be made to the Benefis Sletten Cancer Institute, 1101 26th Street South, Great Falls, Montana 59405.  Richardson Funeral Home, Tempe, Arizona is compassionately serving the family.
