Dewey Allison "J.R." Auten Jr, 65 of Tempe, Arizona passed away on November 17, 2017. He was born on March 11, 1952 the son of Dewey Auten Sr and Luella (Base) Auten in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He moved to Arizona at a young age and had been a resident for the past 60 years. He owned and operated his own residential contruction company for many years. No formal services are planned as his family is honoring his wish for cremation. Left to cherish his memory are his son, Jason Auten of Mesa, Arizona and a sister, Jacqueline LaChance, of Maricopa, Arizona. Richardson Funeral Home, Tempe, Arizona is compassionately serving the family.
