Mr. Edward Corbett “Buzz’” Le Fevre passed away on May 16th. He was 79 years old. “Buzz” was born February 11th 1939 in Muskegon Michigan. He became a resident of Phoenix in December of 1949. He received a B.A. and M.A. degrees in Political Science from Arizona State University in 1961 and 1963 respectively. He also received a Master’s in Social Work from Boston College in 1970. In addition, “Buzz” was a Peace Core Volunteer in Columbia South America from 1963 to 1965. “Buzz” also served in the Arizona Air National Guard when that unit was called up for active duty during the Berlin Crisis of 1961 when the Berlin wall was installed to divide Berlin. He was employed by the City of Phoenix Neighborhood and Housing Department from 1975 to 1991. “Buzz” is survived by two younger brothers Terry and his wife Susan and Patrick and his wife Linda and two younger sisters Ann Hixson and Jennifer Parker. He also is survived by six nieces and nephews and five grand nieces and nephews. In honor of the deceased, there will be a Celebration of Life hosted by his brother Terry Le Fevre at his residence at 2022 E. Redmon Dr. Tempe, AZ 85283 this Saturday, May 26th at 2:00 p.m.  Richardson Funeral Home, Tempe, Arizona is compassionately serving the family.
