Our deepest sympathies to the entire Picone family. Mrs Picone will always hold a special place in my heart. She was kind and caring to me as a young girl and her kindness extend to my husband and my children. Her loss hurts my heart. Rest In Peace Mrs Picone. Love Carrie Younger-Howard and family.

May fond memories of your loved one bring you comfort during this hard time in your life. Look back on all the good memories you were able to have and smile at the fact that you were able to share these before she passed away. My hearts and prayers go out to you and your family. God has promised us that we will soon be reunited with our loved ones. There is going to be a resurrection, the Bible confirms at Acts 24:15. Do not be amazed at this, Jesus assures us, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out. (John 5:28,29)

Eva was a second mother to the entire neighborhood. With 6 kids in the Picone family, 6 in the McCaw family, and 8 kids In the Gracia family, plus many more, it wasn't hard to find someone to play with. Eva was a very large part of that. It seemed we were all at her house at many tumes of any given day. She always had the best food and always willing to put us up for a slumber party... or 12. No matter how tired she was from studying and working. The Cristmas eve traditions of tamales before mass was always one of my favorite memories. And the best tamales I've had since. I remember seeing her grow larger than Ben when she was mad, but quickly became her adorable, petite self within minutes afterwards. Her smile would light up a room and instantly become the center of attention without even trying or knowing it. Thank you for helping to shape me into a man, Mom #2. Your kindness and generosity are impressed on me for life. You're a true treasure I'll cherish you forever.
