Francisco Alatorre-Duron

Francisco Alatorre-Duron, 89 of Tempe, Arizona passed away on April 25, 2018. He was born in Mexico on December 3, 1928 the son of Ignacio and Josefina (Duron) Alatorre. Francisco was affectionately known as "Abuelo Pancho" or "Tio Pancho". He was widely known as the most caring and loving person always ready to help those in most need. He always had a big smile and had a great sense of humor. He gave his life for his family, nieces and nephews, friends and all those in need. He is survived by his lovely wife Carmen; his three children Paco, Maricarmen and Carlos; his two children-in-law Santiago and Taty; and his eight grandchildren Paquito, Rodrigo, David, Sarah, Monica, Andrea, Sofia and Pablo. He is now consoling us because he is a witness that Our Lord Jesus Christ beat death and thus he is now enjoying eternal life with God, our Blessed mother the Virgin Mary, all saints and angels, as well as all priorly deceased family members, especially his beloved deceased son Enriquito. Francisco's beautiful legacy of loving life is the best gift and learning to all of us who had the fantastic privilege to have known him. A visitation will be held on Friday, April 27, 2018 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 PM, with a reading of the Holy Rosary at 8:00 PM, at Richardson Funeral Home, 2621 South Rural Road, Tempe, Arizona. Mass of Christian Burial will follow on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at 12:00 pm at Crosier Village, 717 East Southern Avenue, Phoenix, Arizona.
