James Martin Spiegel

James Martin Spiegel, 79 of Chandler, Arizona passed away on August 6, 2017. He was born in Covington, Kentucky on October 15, 1937, the son of Col. Frederick and Josephine (Croftcheck) Spiegel. He and his three younger siblings grew up military brats, and he later briefly served in the Air Force himself. He settled in Southern California with his wife and daughter. With some medical training in the military and experience as a surgical technician in an LA area hospital, he branched out on his own in the mid 70's, establishing and operating his own successful 25 year business in dialysis consulting and facility/staff management. His retirement years in Arizona were spent doing the things he loved – a lot of golf, get togethers with great friends, international travel with his love, trading stocks, working out at the fitness center, helping the ladies at scrapbook shows all over the country with his daughter, and enjoying a good Manhattan. James is survived by his daughter Karen Josephine (Spiegel) Bremer, son-in-law Randy Bremer, granddaughters Kaelyn Elizabeth and Sydney Josephine Bremer, brothers William and Michael Spiegel, and his love Marlis Percival. A Celebration of James' life will be held on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Richardson Funeral Home, 2621 South Rural Road, Tempe, Arizona.
