Lisa Faust Obituary

Lisa Mary Faust, a loving daughter and sister, passed awayat Hospice of the Valley-Eckstein Center,Scottsdale, Arizona, surrounded by her family on Saturday, August 10,2019. She was 53 years young. Lisa was born in Long Beach, California on February 23, 1966 to Richard and Mary (Scott) Faust.

Lisa graduated from Bishop Union High School in Bishop, California and continued her education at Arizona State University. Lisa received and gave much joy during her life, including while working at Minder Binder's, Downside Risk and Max's Sports Bar. She could be counted on by all to lend a helping hand and a listening ear. Her laugh and spontaneity were contagious to all who knew her. She always saw life through rose colored glasses (literally!) and the word 'impossible' never stopped her. Her compassion towards all living things was remarkable. Lisa was put on this earth to be a caregiver and did an amazing job with anyone she met in need but especially her father, Richard Faust. She enjoyed cooking, the beach, potato chips, traveling, a good romance novel and was an avid fan of the Chicago Bears. But most of all, she doted on all of her nieces and nephews and her "children", dogs Abigail and Kiki. She resided in Scottsdale, Arizona, from the age of 18 until the time of her passing.

She is the second oldest of 7 children. Lisa is survived by her mother and step-father Mary and Ronald Knight, siblings Natalie Stevens, Jennifer Morales, Kimberly (Brendan) Moroney, Angela (Richard) McConnell, Michael (Megan) Faust, and Heidi (David) Amaya, her step-sister Deanne Lee, and Mike Schwartz (her life partner of 18 years), and her much loved pets. We will all miss her greatly but find comfort in the knowledge that she is at peace. Lisa was preceded in death by her father, Richard Faust. He is surely wrapping his arms around her in Heaven right now. Lisa will be forever remembered for her giving heart and caring nature.

The family will be having a private celebration at Queen of Heaven Cemetery. There will be a Celebration of Lisa's life on Saturday, November 30th from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm at the home of Mike and Meagan Faust. Lisa's family looks forward to sharing good memories and laughter with friends and family. Contact the funeral home at 480-449-1000 with any questions.
