Nelda Hardin Obituary

Nelda Ilene Hardin was born January 14, 1943 in Snyder, TX. She passed
away in Phoenix, AZ on July 8, 2017. Nelda was raised on a farm in
Fluvanna, TX. She met and married Kenneth in Midland, TX in 1963. An
Army career took them around the world to places like Alaska, Germany,
Arizona, Maryland and Texas. After retirement from the military, they
lived in Las Cruces, NM; Brownwood, TX; and Phoenix, AZ. Nelda worked as
a bookkeeper with civil service for twenty years and then owned and
managed a retail business for ten years. She is survived by her loving
husband of 54 years, Kenneth Hardin; her two children: Kendra Altrock
and her husband Chris, and Kevin Hardin and his wife Deena; her
brothers: Troy and his wife Betty, J.V. and his wife Carolyn, and Ricky
and his wife Terri; and her grandchildren Connor, Brianna, Jacob and
Jordan. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 from 5:00-6:00 PM with funeral service following at 6:00 PM at Richardson Funeral Home, 2621 South Rural Road, Tempe, Arizona. Richardson Funeral Home, Tempe, Arizona is compassionately serving the family.
