Orvilla Whisler Potvin

Orvilla Louise Whisler Potvin went to be with the Lord on Feb. 6, 2019. She was born on July 11, 1931 to Harold Claude Whisler and Alice Genevieve Aldrich Whisler in Vacaville, California. Most of her years were spent in California and Arizona. She resided the past 15 years in or near Winooski, Vermont. She has been in Mesa, AZ since October to be near her children and grandkids. She leaves a sister Julie Arenstein, friend Marge Keyes, sister-in-law Darlene Whisler, children Susan (Gil) Cancio, David (Lynn) Gray & Kathy Lumbert, 6 grandchildren 17 great-grandchildren, with a host of cousins, nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death recently by her husband of 62 years, Maurice D. Potvin, son Francis D. Potvin and sister-in-law Theresa Potvin. There will be a Celebration of Life at A. J. Calvary Chapel, 2229 W. Broadway Avenue, Apache Junction, Arizona 85120, on March 2, 2019 at 1:00 pm. At a future date there will be a funeral mass and interment at St. Francis Xavier Church, 3 St. Peter St., Winooski, VT 05404. Richardson Funeral Home, Tempe, Arizona is compassionately serving the family.
