Roma Jean McCarthy, 89 of Chandler, Arizona passed away on November 9, 2019 at Hospice of the Valley-Dobson Home, Chandler, Arizona. She was born on September 6, 1930 the daughter of Hershal and Cleo (Kast) Akers in Clinton, Missouri. She worked as a School Teacher for most of her life and had lived in Arizona since 1983. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, November 15, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Arizona Community Church, 9325 South Rural Road, Tempe, Arizona. Richardson Funeral Home, Tempe, Arizona is compassionately serving the family.
