Susie Moraga Obituary

Beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and Great-Great Grandmother Susie Daniels Moraga, 93, passed away September 16, 2019 in Phoenix, AZ. Susie was born May 24, 1926 in Bisbee, AZ to Francisco and Elodia Daniel. Susie met Roy Moraga in Tempe, AZ and they were married in 1946. This union was blessed for 52 years until his passing in 1998. Susie was preceded in death by her beloved husband Roy, her son Rick, and her siblings, Frank Soto, Maria de Jesus Armenta, Ernesto Daniels, Francisco Daniels, Chonita, Mary Lou Moraga, Raymond Daniels and Louis Daniels. Susie is survived by her daughters Lucy Daniels, Nellie Hernandez, Terri Chavarria, and sons Roy Moraga Jr, Robert Moraga, Pete (Maryann) Moraga, Armando Moraga and David (Denise) Moraga. She is survived by 32 grandchildren, 49 great grandchildren and 16 great-great grandchildren. Numerous nieces, nephews and long-time friends will miss Susie. A visitation will be held in Wednesday, September 25, 2019 from 5-8:00 pm, with a Recitationof the Holy Rosary at 7pm, at Richardson Funeral Home, 2621 South Rural Rd, Tempe, Arizona. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, September 26, 2019 at 10:00 am at St Timothy Catholic Church, 1730 West Guadalupe Road, Mesa, Arizona. Interment will immediate follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Mesa, Arizona.

A reception will be held at American Legion Post 35 at 2240 W. Chandler Blvd., Chandler,AZ 85224 from 1:00-4:00 pm after the graveside services. Richardson Funeral Home, Tempe, Arizona is compassionately serving the family.
