Thomas Jo Brown, 86 of Mesa, Arizona passed away on November 20, 2019 at the Carl T Hayden Veteran's Hospital, Phoenix, Arizona. He wasd born on July 18, 1933 the son of Stanley and Regina (Flowers) Brown in South Bend, Indiana. He served his country proudly as a member of the United States Navy and received his Honorable Discharge in 1956. Tom worked for the Parks and Recreation Department as a Hunting Guide for many years and had lived in Arizona for the past 12 years. Tom was a quiet man of few words unless there was a full bottle of clear in front of him, look out. He was outgoing and a joy to be around. He was respected in his field by all who knew him. Tom was a man of the outdoors. He loved to fish, hunt and enjoy the seasons. Tom is survived by Peggy L. Ventrone, companion for the last 11 years, daughter Melissa Christensen, husband Matt, grandsons Mason & Matthew, daughter Amy Mulholland, grandchildren Ryan, Kyle, Taylor and Savannah, son Brian, wife Laurie, grandchildren Lexia, husband Troy Smith and Brian Jr, son Timothy, and daughter Elizabeth Rutkowski, husband Paul, grandchildren Justin, Wesley & Payton. Graveside Services will be held at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 North Cave Creek Road, Phoenix, Arizona, on Monday, December 9, 2019 at 12:30 pm. Richardson Funeral Home, Tempe, Arizona is compassionately serving the family.
