April Nicole Kirby, 24 of Tempe, Arizona passed away on April 18 2018. She was born on April 29, 1993 the daughter of Scott and Sandra (Melhus) Kirby in Mesa, Arizona. April's love of horses began at her Uncle Lynn and Margaret's ranch in Maricopa, Arizona. She started taking riding lessons and made many new friends at Hunkapi. She joined 4H with horses and enjoyed many new experiences and adventures. For her 14th birthday, she received her very own horse, whom she named Chinook. April loved camping and hunting with her father and Uncle Lynn. After high school she was a horse trainer and gave riding lessons. Left to cherish her memory are her parents, Scott and Sandy Kirby of Tempe, Arizona. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at 3:00 PM, with a viewing one hour prior to services, at Richardson Funeral Home, 2621 South Rural Road, Tempe, Arizona. Richardson Funeral Home, Tempe, Arizona is compassionately serving the family.
