Born in Akron, Ohio to Sarah (Jean) and Robert Smetts, Becky was one of four children. Becky lived in Ohio most of her life with her husband Jim, moving to Arizona 15 years ago. Becky loved her family and music. You would find her at the karaoke bar on Friday nights with her fiancé Kasey and her many friends. She was a friend to everyone. She also had a passion for cooking and coming up with her own recipes and was in the process of creating her own cookbook. She enjoyed tending to her garden on her patio, where she would grow her own herbs and some vegetables. Becky was a beautiful soul taken from us too soon. A loving mother, grandmother, companion to her fiancé and a friend to many. She would bring happiness and an energy that cannot be described to any room. A firecracker with the most caring soul you could ever know. She will be missed immensely by those of us left behind. Her fiancé Kasey, Son Troy, Daughter Tamara (Don), Grandsons Tyler and Jax, Her mother Jean and brothers Ronnie (Tammy), and Ray as well as many other family and friends. Becky was preceded in death by her husband Jim of 30 years, her daughter Mandy, son Jesse, father Robert, and brother Bobby. A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, May 7th, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Richardson Funeral Home, 2621 S Rural Road, Tempe, Arizona
