Daniel Kevin Burke

Daniel Kevin Burke (Kevin), passed away on Thanksgiving, November 24, 2022. He will be remembered for his boundless enthusiasm, determination, and daredevil sports, whether in skydiving, scuba diving, hiking, softball, golfing, dirt-biking, camping or horseback riding.   Born in June 1956 in Salt Lake City, he grew up and lived in Tempe, Arizona where he worked at ASU in their recreation department.  He was an ASU graduate in outdoor and therapeutic recreation. Kevin inspired and enabled physically and mentally disabled children to be active and fulfil their own potential, though he resisted any description of himself as disabled from his own childhood stroke.  He leaves behind lifelong friends, beloved dog Phoenix, and siblings, Susan and Tom Burke.
