Daryl Lee Rogala

Daryl Lee Rogala of Chandler, Arizona passed away on Sunday Morning, April 25, 2021, at the Hospice of the Valley in Chandler, Arizona surrounded by the love and support of his Wife, "Terri" and family.

Daryl was born on August 24, 1948 to Thaddeus and Delores Rogala in Lakewood, California. The Southern California native grew up with three brothers (one of whom was his twin) Roger, Brad and Dan (deceased) and one sister (Karen).

After graduating from St. John Bosco (High School) he pursued his higher education at Long Beach Community College and later obtained his Bachelor Degree from California State Los Angeles.

Daryl was a diligent, hard working, finance guy whom served as Controller for reputable corporations throughout his career.

Daryl "Papa" was reserved and known as "a man of few words". He was direct and intentional. He was consistent and respected by many.

During his free time he enjoyed days at the beach, among his family, golf, playing chess, shooting marbles, trips to the casinos, watching Jeopardy, eating ice cream with the grandchildren and following the Stock Market and the "Nightly Business Report" while sipping a Whiskey.

He loved to BBQ for the family and spend time with the grandchildren during holidays and the summer months.

He spent most of his life with his "life partner" and wife Theresa "Teri". They resided in Norwalk, Californa, Long Beach, California and retired to the desert of Chandler, Arizona. Daryl "Papa" leaves behind his loving wife "Teri", daughter Briget Rogala, Tina and Pat. Two granddaughters Perry and Amelia and three beautiful great grandsons. He is survived by his eldest brother, Roger Rogala, youngest brother Brad Rogala and sister Karen Quen along with their families.

A Celebration of Daryl's life will be held on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at 9:30 AM at Richardson Funeral Home, 2621 South Rural Road, Tempe, Arizona. A luncheon will follow the services, location to be announced. Richardson Funeral Home, Tempe, Arizona is compassionately serving the Rogala family.
