Diana Kay Eberts

Diana Kay Eberts, age 67, passed away at her family home on September 6, 2021 due to a sudden stroke. She was born July 27, 1954 in Ottumwa, Iowa to Bernard and Janet Tremmel. The first decades of her life were spent in the Midwest – growing up in Iowa, attending college at Northeast Missouri State, working in Minneapolis as a teacher, and then moving to Omaha after she met her lifetime partner, Charles (Chuck) Eberts.
As her relationship with Chuck grew, they decided they wanted to move away from the Midwest to find a place with warmer weather, more activities, and a home where they could raise a family. They found that place in Tempe, AZ, where Diana and Chuck have resided ever since. Once in Arizona, the couple started a family of four wonderful children. Diana was an amazing mother and led a full-time career raising and caring for her family. Even as her kids grew older, her love, support, and dedication for her family never changed. Diana loved to spend time with her family, bowl with the weekly league, go out to meals with her husband and kids, and talk with friends and relatives.
Diana is survived by her husband, Chuck; her two sons and their wives Christopher and Jennifer Eberts and Patrick and Erin Eberts; her two daughters and son-in-law, Jillian Eberts and Laura and Josh Wray; and her loving grandson, Wyatt Eberts. All of whom loved and cared for her deeply. Please join us celebrating her life Monday morning September 13, 2021, between 9 a.m. — 11 a.m. at Richardson Funeral Home, 2621 South Rural Road, Tempe, Arizona. Interment will immediately follow the celebration of Diana's life at Paradise Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 9300 East Shea Boulevard, Scottsdale, Arizona.
