Edward John Foley

Edward John Foley, 87 of Tempe, Arizona passed away peacefully at his home on April 9, 2021 with his children Ann Marie, Kathleen, Maureen (Paul), and Richard at his side. He was preceded in death by his Beloved wife of 51 years, Berniece (Habbel) Foley. Edward was born in Detroit, Michigan. He was a veteran of the Korean War and served proudly in the United States Air Force, after which he attended the University of Detroit studying electrical engineering. Ed moved his family to Tempe, Arizona in 1974 and became a founding partner at Southwest Microwave, Inc. where he worked for over 40 years. Edward is survived by his sisters, Doris Beauvais, Agnes Feldman, and Patricia Conflitti. Edward was strong in his faith and attended Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Tempe, where he was active in feeding the needy through St Vincent de Paul charities He enjoyed travelling, hiking, and attending live opera performances. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with a Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 PM, at Richardson Funeral Home, 2621 South Rural Road, Tempe, Arizona. A Memorial Mass will follow on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, 2121 South Rural Road, Tempe, Arizona. In lieu of flowers, donations in Edward's name should be directed to The Society of St Vincent de Paul at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, 2121 South Rural Rd, Tempe, Arizona 85282. Richardson Funeral Home, Tempe, Arizona is compassionately serving the Foley family.
