Edward Q. Miller, age 89; beloved husband of the late Linda A. Miller for 43 years; proud father of Melissa (Donald) Venham and Laura (Daniel) Pirosko; doting grandfather of Danica and Aidan Venham; loving brother "Eddie" of MaryEllen (Verne) Hedges; step-father of Thomas Cempel, and dear uncle of several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Pearl Miller, brother Richard (Pauline Fairchild) Miller, brother Norman (Janet) Miller, sister Phyllis (Ron) Koepf, and step-son Christopher Cempel. He was a longtime resident of Northeast Ohio and passed away on Tuesday, March 1, 2022, in Chandler, Arizona. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choosing. Ed loved playing sports in his early years. In 1949, his team, the Mansfield Police Recreation Club, won the Ohio Hot Stove Baseball State Championship! He graduated from Mansfield Senior High School in Mansfield, Ohio, in 1951 where he took pride in playing football for the Mansfield Tygers. He served our country as member of the Army and was a veteran of the Korean War. Upon returning home, he made a new home in the Cleveland area and went to work as a Pressman for Litho Color Printing Company. An expert lithographer, he became President and Owner of the company before retirement. He loved auto racing of all kinds and was a gifted photographer. At the age of 42, he met and fell in love with his "Lady" Linda, they got married, and together, they showered their blessings upon their family. They loved to host 70s/80s family dance parties, VHS movie marathons, pool parties, weekends at the Lodge, summers at Lakeside, and beach getaways. Their hearts were giant, and they were always willing to share what they had; especially Ed, who had Altoids for all. When Linda passed in 2019, Ed was lost without her. It gives us great joy knowing that they are with the Lord and together again. A Celebration of Edward's life will be held on Thursday, July 14, 2022 at 6:00 PM at St Paul Lutheran Church, 276 East Bagley Road, Berea, Ohio.
