Geneva Bryan Obituary

Geneva (Bradford) Adams-Bryan, age 81, a Lane, Oklahoma resident was born on Monday, November 6, 1939, to Adam Lester and Maggie Cecelia (Lohden) Bradford, at Lane, Oklahoma. Geneva passed away on Sunday, February 21, 2021 at Carefree, Arizona. She graduated from W.H. Adamson High School in the Dallas Independent School District. Geneva was a cafeteria manager where she retired from Dallas Independent School District and Atoka School District. She married James Leonard Adams in March of 1956 and Dwayne Hartzel Bryan in May of 1986; both preceded Geneva in death. Geneva was an active member of the Iron Stob Pentecostal Church. She loved teaching children's church, traveling to Branson, canning, gardening, entertaining people, cooking, spending time with her grandchildren and taking them to the Broken Bow Lake. Geneva was a sweet women that will truly be missed by everyone. Geneva is survived by her sons, Jim Adams of Lane, Oklahoma, Tim Adams and wife Tammy of Carefree, Arizona; grandchildren, Nichole Adams of Farmers Branch, Texas, Addison Adams of Lane, Oklahoma, Ashley Pelosi and husband Mike of Ft. Worth, Texas, Lindsey Waters and husband Derek of Watauga, Texas; brothers, Lester Bradford of Lane, Oklahoma, Cotton Bradford of Lane, Oklahoma; sisters, Helen McCraw of Lane, Oklahoma, Wanda Brown of Cedar Hill, Texas; great grandchildren, Madeline and Parker Walters, Michael Pelosi, Makenzie Pelosi, Abigail Pelosi, Jaxson Adams, Kelbie Howard, and Lainey Thompson. Geneva is preceded in death by her parents, Adam Lester and Maggie Cecelia (Lohden) Bradford; first husband, James Adams; second husband, Dewayne Bryan; brother, Haskell "Hack" Bradford; son, Johnny Paul Adams Funeral services and burial will take place in Atoka, Oklahoma. Richardson Funeral Home, Tempe, Arizona and Brown's Funeral Service, Atoka, Oklahoma are both compassionately serving the Bryan family.
