Hector N Ortega Sr, 75 of Maricopa, Arizona passed away on February 7, 2021 at Chandler Regional Hospital and Medical Center, Chandler, Arizona. He was born on August 10, 1945 the son of Gabriel and Epifania (Navarrette) Ortega in Carlsbad, New Mexico. Hector made the military his career where he attained the rank of Sergeant First Class in the United States Army, from which he received his Honorable Discharge and Retirement. He has lived in Arizona for the past 38 years. Graveside services, with full military honors, will be held on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at 10:30 AM at Miramar National Cemetery, 5795 Noble Drive, San Diego, California. Richardson Funeral Home, Tempe, Arizona is compassionately serving the Ortega family.
