Janet Rosenquist Obituary

Janet Karen Rosenquist, 81 of Tempe, Arizona passed away on October 25, 2021 at Angels Senior Care, Phoenix, Arizona. She was born on November 11,1939 in Redwood Falls, Minnesota. After earning her Bachelor's degree from Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota she worked as an elementary school music teacher for many years, where she helped shape the musical lives of her students through her choral instruction and love of playing the piano. She moved to the Valley of the Sun in 1968 and retired from the Tempe Unified Elementary School district. No formal services are planned at this time. Left to cherish her memory are her sister, Mary Mirocha of Goodyear, Arizona and three nephews, Jeffery, David and Robert. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that charitable contributions be made in Janet's name to the music department of the Tempe Unified School District. Richardson Funeral Home, Tempe, Arizona is compassionately serving the Rosenquist family.
