Jonathan Marcus Garrett

Jonathan Marcus Garrett passed away suddenly on March 29, 2022 in Phoenix, Arizona at the age of 29, surrounded by his family.  He was born on August 5, 1992 in Columbus, Ohio and moved to Arizona with his mother and sister 18 years ago.  After graduating from Desert Vista High School in 2010, Jon went on to become a licensed barber, often cutting the hair of friends and family.  The proudest moment of his life was becoming a father to his son, Legacy Isaiah.  Jon was preceded in death by his grandparents and uncle.  He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by his mother, Juanita Donaldson, father, Richard "Rick" Donaldson, sister Cierra (Raina) Garrett, his Oma, Margaret Repp, Pearl Schurz, mother to Legacy, aunts Marsha Mhuto, Chelsea Kegley, Corina (Jose) Owens, cousins Daysia, Aaron, Angelo, Christopher, Maya, Wesley and Whitney, and an abundance of friends.  He was deeply loved and we take comfort in knowing that Jon is now at peace.  Private family services will be held.  Richardson Funeral Home, Tempe, Arizona is compassionately serving the Garrett family.
