Jonathan Edward Grover

Jonathan Edward Grover, passed away peacefully at the age of 48, February 7, 2018 in Scottsdale Arizona. Jon (as most knew him) was born on February 22, 1969 in Buffalo, New York and was the son of Elmer Grover of Marlborough, New Hampshire and Patricia O’Neil Grover of Scottsdale, Arizona and Yarmouth, Maine. Jon attended Marlborough elementary and middle schools and graduated from Keene High School in 1987. He was very active in sports in school and played basketball and soccer for Keene High School. Shortly after graduation, Jon entered the Navy and served as a nuclear submarine officer based out of the Groton, Connecticut Naval base. Following his time in the Navy, Jon attended Keene State College before relocating to Scottsdale Arizona and starting a long career in the financial industry. Jon was a handsome, charismatic man with many, many friends. Once you were Jon’s friend, you were a life friend and he never let you go. Jon was predeceased by his father Elmer Grover. He is survived by his mother Patricia O’Neil Grover and his many siblings: Christopher Grover and wife Rosita and family, Jay Grover (Amy) and family, David Grover and Family, Suzanne Grover-Ellen (Richard) and Family, Thomas Grover (Tami) and Family, Jennifer Grover (partner Peter) and Family, James Grover (Gina), Jessica Grover and several nieces, nephews and cousins. A celebration of life will be held at Foley Funeral home, 49 Court Street, Keene, New Hampshire on February 16, 2018 between the hours of 7:00 PM and 9:00 PM. Richardson Funeral Home, Tempe, Arizona and Foley Funeral Home, Keene, New Hampshire are both compassionately serving the family.
