Lorene was born on her family farm in Metz, Michigan on November 18,1930, the youngest child of Lawrence Woloszyk and Julia (nee Klimaszewski). She was married to Robert William McKay on September 26, 1953 in Brigham City, Utah. She passed away peacefully at her home in Tempe, Arizona, on October 8, 2020. She was preceded in death by her 2-day old infant son, Robert William Jr. on September 10, 1959, and her husband on July 5, 2016. She had 13 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren (with another due in November) and one great great granddaughter. She was very involved in the activities of the various parishes she attended. She and Bob moved to Tempe in 2004 and became members of Our Lady of Mount Carmel (OLMC). She attended daily Mass as much as her health allowed. She belonged to the Sodality at OLMC and two rosary groups. Her homemade jam, pies and banana bread always sold out at the bake sales.
