Patti Lynn Hamm (Wallack) 66 of Tempe, Arizona passed away peacefully in her sleep on April 24, 2021. She is survived by her loving husband C. Dale Hamm. She was born in St. Cloud, Minnesota on May 5, 1954, the daughter of Richard Wallack (St. Cloud, Minnesota) and Mary Helen (Gallegos) Hill (Arboles, Colorado). She graduated from Central High School in Duluth, Minnesota. She most recently worked for the Federal Government at the Peckham Group. Left to cherish memories of her are her five children: James Nord, Neal Nord, Teresa Nord, Lynnea Nord, and Beth Schiestl (Brent). She also has 13 grandchildren: Michaela Nord, Maria Nord, Chasidan Mead, Charles Konya, Jade Hamlin, Jazmine Nord, Nathaniel Nord, Logan Nord, Hope Cole, Aleena Nord, Corinne Schiestl, Evan Schiestl, Selena Rodriguez and three great grandchildren, Cameron Nord, and Taydom and Kaison Hicks. Patti is also survived by her four siblings: Diane Sell (Wayne), Eileen Dusek (Frank), James Wallack (Denise), and Sandra Knott (Jon), as well as many nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Helen Hill, father, Richard Wallack, and infant sister, Joyce Wallack, as well as her grandparents Jose “Reynaldo” Gallegos, Josepha Gallegos (Garcia), Raymond Wallack, and Marie Wallack (Dondelinger). Patti had many passions in life such as singing, country music, radio broadcasting, La Leche League, National Federation for the Blind, and reading. Her most cherished love was her family, especially her children and grandchildren. She will be remembered for her enjoyment of giving and receiving hugs, sweets (including chocolate, lemon meringue pie, and strawberry cheesecake), and Mexican and Chinese food. She so loved to be adventurous, road tripping, joking, laughing, having fun, and living in the sun. All those who knew her will miss all these things about her, but most of all her kind and loving Heart. A Celebration of Patti's life will be held at a later date.
